Beaches
The Costa del Sol offers visitors some of the best beaches in Spain, the weather is warm and mild with gentle winds and safe waters, making it the ideal place for families to visit. There is a wonderful variety of beach bars, or ‘chiringuitos’ as they are typically known, which serve food and drinks all day long. The chiringuito, at 150 walking distance, belonging to the AGH Estepona Hotel and Spa is “Paraiso del Mar”, with fresh seafood and other snacks served daily throughout the summer.
The coast of Estepona, low and sandy, extends over more than 21 km. offering 17 beaches with different degrees of use and enjoyment.
Beach de la Rada opposite the town has been awarded the Blue Flag, besides being the largest, is the busiest.
Beach del Cristo, which is a beautiful cove, is ideal for any time of year it is sheltered from the winds.
